The Ontario
Child Support Guideline
Tables
Prepared for the Internet by James Wilcox

Our thanks to James Wilcox!

The actual amount of child support to be paid by a child support payor covered by Ontario's Uniform Federal and Provincial Child Support Guideline Act, 1997 is contained in a Regulation which, so far as I know, is not yet available on the Internet. I'm very much indebted to James Wilcox who has done the work necessary to make the figures available for posting here at the FLC. This is the sort of technical expertise I don't have and I was delighted when he offered his work for all of us to use. We are all indebted to him for helping make the figures widely available.

Thanks again, James. I really appreciate your generosity in allowing us to post your work. Joel

A NOTE ABOUT PRINTING WHAT THE SECTIONS YOU WANT.

The Table is about 13 pages long but you'll only get about 2/3rds of it if you try to print in the ordinary way. You need to print it in Landscape format to get the entire width. I hope you'll find the following Tips to be of help.

Tips For Printing From Internet Explorer

Go to File and then Print. Then go into Properties and Paper and select Landscape from the Orientation box. (You can also set the page for the proper style of printing by going first to File, then Page Set Up and selecting Landscapein the Orientation. Then go back to Print and continue.) You'll get the entire Table, which is about 17 pages long if you just press OK to print. If you only want to print a certain number of lines highlight what you want before starting to Print and be sure to check the button for Selection. If you know what pages you want to print you can select them by putting in Pages from "3" to "5", for example. If you want to print only page 3 enter "3" to "3" in the Print Range box.

Tips For Printing From Netscape

It's basically the same in Netscape as above except that I couldn't figure out how to only print a few highlighted lines. You can print the table by choosing just the page you want and you can find out which page that is by going to File, then Print Preview. You can see the page number for each page at the bottom of the screen and can Zoom In to get a better look.

The Table is lengthy and may take a few moments to download.
