You have to do a bit of work to
get at the family law legislation Nova Scotia has on the Internet.
- First you go to the Legislation
section of the Nova Scotia government's Internet site.
- Then scroll down until you reach "Statutes of Nova Scotia (full text)".
- Clicking on that takes you to "Nova Scotia Statutes". Scroll down
until you reach "Statutes available on this site".
- Click on that and you arrive at "Nova Scotia Statutes on the Internet".
Scroll down and you reach an alphabetical listing.
- This takes you to an index of legislation with those statutes available
on the Internet marked in colour. Click on them and you'll see the statute.
Relevant statutes available to read in full are:
- Adoption Information Act
- Age of Majority Act
- Change of Name Act
- Matrimonial Property Act
