SPARC states it's goal "is to ensure that children of divorce
continue to have meaningful relationships with both parents, regardless
of marital status. We advocate on behalf all non-custodial parents (especially
fathers) to ensure they get equitable treatment in court and continued
access to their children." This site has a wealth of information
about an extremely wide range of parenting issues and includes one of
the largest collections of articles taken from a variety of reputable
sources dealing with the matters of concern to non-custodial parents.
This link is to its PAS Information Archive with over 40 such articles.
Spending time with these articles helps people understand this very disturbing
concern - which doesn't make its consequences any less scary. While this
may help the targeted parent understand what's going on, it's possible
that alerting the alienating parent to the situation might help them see
the damage their conduct is causing to their child or children. Also check
out SPARC's PAS
FAQ section.
Parental
Alienation Syndrome Homepage
This is a Canadian website devoted to information about PAS including
many links to material available on the Internet. This site has a discussion
group bulletin board for people affected by this situation so they can
communicate with each other and express their feelings. Painful to read
but certainly gives an insight as to how this affects real people and
real families. It also has a few articles about PAS, which, although limited
in number are detailed, thoughtful, and scholarly. This isn't a group
of people ranting, but a number of persons concerned about the tragedy
of children losing meaningful contact with one of their parents due to
the conduct of the other parent. Less breadth but more depth.

Centre's PAS Resource Directory
A great place for a client to be directed to get an understanding
of this very troubling experience. This can be used as a good jumping
off place for clients to get to the other sites mentioned here.
